Conference: "Challenges for the cosmetics industry. Upcoming legislation in the EU "

On behalf of the Polish Union of private Employers of Cosmetics Industry I hereby cordially invite you to the conference entitled “Challenges for the cosmetics industry. Upcoming legislation in the EU”, which will be held on 6th and 7th November 2008 in Intercontinental Hotel in Warsaw.

Today the cosmetics industry in Europe is on the eve of adoption of the new cosmetics legislation. European Parliament and the Council of the European Union have been working on the draft of regulation on cosmetics. For businessmen in Poland, it is the most important legislative draft since the moment of accession of Poland to the European Union.

For the first time ever, legal regulations regarding the cosmetics will be the same for all the entrepreneurs in Europe. It will be both the considerable facilitation, but also enormous challenge for entire cosmetics sector. In consideration of this fact, the Union has been intensively engaged in this legislation process ever since the elaboration of the draft of regulation by the European Commission.
